Formal contracts and definitive quotations require an in-person site inspection, substrate assessment, verified quantity measurements, and mutual execution of a formal work order specifying timelines, payment schedules, and surface preparation obligations.
3. Natural Stone Characteristics & Inherent Variations
Natural stone, marble, and granite are geological products of nature. Inherent variations in veining, color shade, crystalline structure, fissures, and mineral deposits are natural characteristics and do not constitute material defects. Slabs shown in digital photographs represent material categories and cannot depict every variation present across quarry lots.
4. Substrate Readiness & Installation Environment
Successful surface installation requires substrates to meet recognized engineering standards for dryness, flatness, and structural load-bearing capacity. AK Enterprises will specify any remedial substrate leveling, waterproofing, or structural bracket preparation needed prior to commencing laying.
